Title: UG destroyed and pursuit
Post by: badhabum on January 29, 2024, 03:49:11 PM
A quick question from the iWC games

ROUT moves : pg 103 8B2 : if the TUG is destroyed with no rout moves as fighting in 2 or more directions do all victorious UGs have the possibility to pursure or only one of them ? It seems to me "any UGs" means aal but I was told it is not so !

Second quick question : a BWG that routs has it a 0 mouvement range so there can't be a pursuit or is it 2 MU and the dice

Any is not all. The owner can choose to pursue with as many of the qualifying as UGs as they desire, or with none.

If any UG has a rout move of 0 BW then the pursuers have a pursuit move of 0 BW. Remember, you move the routers, then you move the pursuers, and then you remove the routers (although in practice we often short cut here and just remove the routers, roll the VMD, then move pursuits - but it can make a difference so if in doubt do it in the correct sequence).

5. UGs that destroyed opponents that were fighting on two or more of front, left flank, right
flank or rear OR with bases facing in more than one direction have an option to pursue
directly ahead.

So all of them have the possibility of pursuing.
