Title: Papal Allies

The Papal List (5602) has Imperialist German allies before 1072CE. But that list (5605) doesn't start until 1106 CE. Should that read  Early Holy Roman Empire (3419)  - which would be in period for before 1072?

Bump. Any answer on this? Should Papal Italian (5602) have Early Imperial German (5605) allies ... which seems wrong given the dates. Should this instead be Early Holy Roman Empire (3419). Would appreciate an answer as I'm thinking about this list for a comp.

Looks that way to me.

Would need RJC to make an official errata though - unless you can persuade the comp organiser of course  ;)

I was away in Belgium.  I'll add it as an errata item.
It was actually an error in the 2023 lists (and earlier I suspect) - just never been spotted before!
