Good luck to all those competing at Cancon 24. Unfortunately, I can not make it this year but I trust that all participants thoroughly enjoy what is a wonderful occasion. Also, congratulations to those who organize and run this event.
Sorry to hear you can't make it. I'm taking the shiny new army I've painted over the last 5 weeks or so (Armenian). Isn't even meant to be stinking hot in Canberra (if the weather forecasts can be believed this far out)
Looking forward to it
Martin
Bloody Hell Martin - it takes me five months not five weeks to paint an army!
School holidays make painting much easier for me. I'm actually part way through a second army for these holidays. I'm not a good painter but, when I get going, I'm quick.

Well, I look forward to (hopefully) someone providing the results etc at some stage. Right now I hope that all competitors enjoy themselves and luck is evenly shared.
Have attached results below.
Many thanks to my opponents, Robert Mun for running the show and Olympian Games and Carl Taylor for providing goodies/prizes.
Was a great long weekend

Thanks for that Martin. And it would appear that congratulations are in order. It is curious to me to see such a preponderance of later armies. It must have been a very enjoyable few days.

That was also the case in an open tournament towards the end of last year in the UK (Skullrollers).
Possibly players perceive powerbows and/or fully armoured knights as good value for points.
