Title: Deployment and Ambush
Post by: sstoker22 on September 20, 2023, 02:47:08 PM
Ambushes and flank marches are deployed.

Ignoring out scouting I then deploy 1/3 of my force, is this 1/3 of of the original number of UGs or 1/3 of the number of UGs left after declaring ambush and Flank marches

eg I got 9 UGs

I put 3 in Ambush do I then deploy 1/3 of 9 = 3 or 1/3 of 6 = 2.

Original number, so 3 in your example.

Thankyou, sorry for questions, but I am playing my first game next week at a tournament, it encourages beginners but dont want to slow things by being unsure.

For those of us using discs, not cards, what are the dimensions of an "ambush card"?

Am I right in thinking this is fixed in all scales and versions of the game?

A standard playing card.  Yes, it is fixed.

MeG standard.  The aim of the game is to enjoy ourselves, not worry over how large the ambush zone is.

OK, I'll go with "poker standard" 3½ x 2½ inches then.
