Hello,
I have read the rules (both QRS and rulebook pg 14), and the rules for Terrained Hills are very clear to me : only for optional items, with any R/D available on top of the hill.
This last part however puzzles me, not for the wording, but for the possibilities: as I understand it, it allows a player to place on a Hill a type of terrain which would in nature never be found on a hilly topography: Marsh and Swamp come to mind (but even Wadi is hard to bend my mind around).
My question is therefore two-fold:
- Is my interpretation correct?
- If yes, is it realistic?
Best,
Antoine
I have walked on some really boggy hills so the combination of marsh and hill is perfectly possible in nature!
Flodden might be an example where the Scots walked down a hill that was also the equivalent of a marsh.
