Thank goodness. I know there are some positives to pdf rules but for me the hard copy still wins hands down!

The Print on Demand edition is available from the MeG website.  At the same time we have updated the PDF edition (so anyone who has bought the PDF edition will get a notification and can download the revised PDF for free).

The PoD edition is GBP 19.99 and the equivalent in other currencies.  It is printed (by Lulu) and delivered directly.

To stress once again, we have not changed the rules from the MeG Compendium edition.  We have made a substantial effort to clarify the wording to make the rules easier to follow, incorporated the errata etc.  We will also be updating the clarifications.

Thanks to Lawrence Greaves for his excellent proof-reading and to Simon Clarke for sorting out the technicalities of preparing the print on demand edition.

Be kind.

Richard

Richard, is there any notation on the updated pdf so we can tell if we have the latest version?

The simplest way is check the Content page.  If it has Appendix 4 Errata then it is the latest version.
That said, we have had a slight technical issue.  Probably worth waiting another week or so.

As there seem to be a problem to get the latest pdf version on our account how does that affect the POD ?

It doesn't.  Lulu will supply the latest version either PDF or POD if you buy.  What they led us to believe, but turns out not to be true, is that it would automatically update the PDF to the latest version if you downloaded it again.  This does not happen.  When you buy the PDF  Lulu places a copy of that PDF in your lulu library.  If you re-download the PDF it downloads the copy from your private lulu library (i.e. the version you bought) not the latest version.  Clearly you cannot redownload the POD as it is printed and sent to you.
