Title: Placing Secured Flank Terrain
Post by: RobAustin on March 19, 2019, 09:02:45 PM
The old wording for placing secure flank terrain (not a river or coastline) was:

Other secured flanks, both place type from PBS Map on an agreed side edge in own half of table - compulsory sized item.

Now it says:

Otherwise place compulsory-sized terrain from those on side of PBS Map (must be allowed in territory).

To me, other than now specifying that the selected terrain must be allowed for the given territory type, the new wording is less clear. Does each player still choose a terrain type? Is it still placed in your half?

See Page 40 in the rules - that covers it.

No change other than it must be a type allowed in territory - which doesn't often matter.

OK, thanks.

You know, Nik citing the page number makes me think it would be ideal if, where possible, the relevant page number were cited on the QRS. I've seen this in a few other rules and it is really helpful. Not always possible for space limitations, but something to consider for v2.

I can have a look when we reprint QRS but already did them all for vs2 as one batch.
