I am not convinced that they should be cheaper than Maximus - their command range is effectively larger as the table and UG size is smaller in BW. You could argue that they are in fact worth more in Magna than Maximus.
This was overlooked. The Magna rules will be changed. In the PDF edition, professional generals will have a command range of 7 BW, and instinctive generals a command range of 5BW. The range for floating generals will reduce from 15BW to 10BW.
