Can a friendly uG end its move over a ambush card, today at The Devil's Crown tournament we played that it was ok, but would like an official ruling to confirm right or wrong
I think it is fair to say that the rules do not cover this scenario. Both the ambush rules and the passing through friends rules are silent on this matter.
Was the ambush genuine or a dummy?
It would be nice to get an official ruling from Simon.

p181 point 2, ambush cards do not limit movement or exercise close proximity zones.
seems to cover the situation.

IIRC that section is a bit vague and the movement could just be things like 2nd moves - the PDF development will allow it to be explicit so this question could be timely ;D

I think the context here implies enemies not friends.
Richard,
The Ambush card was a dummy. The TuG in question did a double move, with the first part of the move ending upon the card
Simon has indicated that ambush cards have no affect on the movement of friendly UGs, whether dummy or not. So a friendly UG can end its move on an ambush card.

What happens when an ambush with something on top of it is sprung?
You follow the rules on deploying ambushes as they cover it if you follow them :)
