When Drilled/Formed Close infantry are mounted as dismountable... Are they classed as Loose (majority of cavalry/Camelry) or Close as Infantry Close?
Reason for asking: When crossing say Rough "mounted" do they move as Loose or Close please?
Page 211 - move as formed loose cavalry/camelry when mounted.

Clarification then, if close infantry are mounted in the open and are contacted , they fight as close infantry but with a Combat shy characteristic??

Doesn't need any clarification, that is what the rule says. Similarly, if they were loose infantry, they would fight as loose infantry but with the Combat Shy characteristic.
