The notes for this list say that;
Cavalry were unarmoured, carrying a bow, spear and sword.
The Elamite cavalry are listed as bow only. Are they supposed to have light spear as well or was it left out due to them not being deemed good enough with the spear to warrant it?
Left out to ensure they are not too good.

What is too good when the late republican roman may have 8 bases of exceptional, impact, melee expert infantry 8)

I see their point. Having Elamite cavalry being better than Scythian is probably a problem.
I don't agree and the Later Elamite cavalry could at least be similar to the Chaldean/Babylonian cavalry which had short spear and bow. Elamites can be formed or tribal flexible, short spear, bow
