Title: 2022-07-16/17 Devizes "Attack"

July 16th & 17th MeG Attack 2022: Rome put to the Sword: from the Gallic sacking to the "Vandalism" of Rome.  Any 10,000-point classical army from 387BCE - 455CE.  Allied contingents must also be within these dates.

Can an external ally be from a non-classical list as long as the date's match? For example Middle Sassanid Persian can have Later pre-Islamic allies from the Byzantium pdf but well with in competition dates.

Well the blurb at the top only says that allies must be within those dates so it would allow ones such as you mention IMO (would apply to Palmyrans and Imperial Romans as well with the Later Pre-Islamic Bedouin). Makes sense as well, otherwise you are excluding historical allies for no good reason.
