We are planning a 4-round, 2 day event on April 28 & 29 at the Game Kastle in San Jose CA. This will be a 10,000 point open, one list allowed. We will ask that all players make their list available to be checked for accuracy in advance, and Dale Shanek has graciously volunteered for this duty. Please email your list to him at daleshanek@yahoo.com by 4/20/19. We are calling this the US West Coast MeG Championship, although we'd be pleased to see some other group put on a rival event.
Please bring your own terrain, although some will be provided by kindly natives. The first round will be random matchups, Swiss pairing after that. No quarter will be asked or given, all matches being to the death (of toy soldiers).
We have a preliminary count of 8 participants, and several more are unconfirmed but possible. If any out of towers are considering making the trip, you'd be very welcome.
April 28-29 or 27-28?
Saturday and Sunday. I thought I'd got the dates right.
Will we see you there, Rob? Bring a friend or two!
Rob is right. The event is April 27 & 28. Be there of be square.
Well, I noticed the dates because I was checking cost of flights. Considering, considering...
This event is coming up fast, with lists due in less than 2 weeks (11 days, to be precise). If you want to play, please let us know. At this moment we appear to have 8 players, with 2 more possible.
Please note the typo in the title of this thread, the event is actually the 27th and 28th, 2 rounds each on Saturday and Sunday. Last place player gets a free pony!
