Managed to cock-up moving this post to this board; apologies to "mikecobden" - so here is what was posted.

Hi all,
I am a little new to the hobby, and just got my first Pacto Set - Classical Greeks. I went through the whole box, and I am pretty confused. There is no clear distinction between the sprues with "Hoplites" and those which are "Peltasts". I reached out for help from PSC and they sent me a photo of a "peltast" sprue, but when I matched that to my figures, it looks like some sprues are mixed together? If I am going by armor, it seems I have almost a 50/50 split, but the box says I should have FAR more hoplites than peltasts. Am I missing something? I asked for clarification from PSC and have not gotten any response.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts.
The box contains both armoured and unarmoured hoplites and the latter are quite similar to peltasts. To be honest it won't matter if you mix the unarmoured types just make sure you use the aspis shield for the hoplites and the crescent pelta for the peltasts - also use ones without metal helmets for the peltasts.
One way to work out which figures are which is to have a look on the Xyston site as the PSC figures are the Xyston ones in plastic - https://www.scotiagrendel.com/Xyston/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2_3_6_24&zenid=m0l57l8och1457s9v8ni85nl30 - I think this is what PSC were doing when they sent you the picture of the peltasts.
Hi and thank you for the note!
As an update, Chris Walker at PSC was kind enough to go through all my pics and label them to help me. You are spot on: the unarmored hoplites were confusing, and I have since spent some time reading up on the evolution of Hoplite warfare which is precisely the joy this hobby brings!
Ill be painting and basing them now that I understand how to use them.
If anyone is in the LA area and wants to help a fully vaxxed mediocre instinctive commander learn how to interpret the charging rules, message me!
