Title: Elephants and Shatter
Post by: Hail Colin on January 27, 2022, 05:25:56 PM
What does the Elephants rule 4, mean "Automatically get Shatter potential" surely they still need to roll a Skull or S.

That's why it says "potential" i.e the potential to shatter on a skull or an S

Thanks that's what I assumed and presumably the Shatter rule doesn't cost any points for Elephants?

Yes the existing points value includes the fact that Elephants claim shatter without needing to pay for the characteristic.

All elephant herds are led by a dominant individual.  It doesn't need a general sitting on the elephant to make it the dominant individual (although generals mounted on elephants would want to be on the dominant individual).  This is why generals don't contribute to the fighting ability and there are no plans to change this rule.

Hi Richard,

sorry I haven't find where it is in the rulebook or QRS, because in this case I stole my gaming partner last friday (sorry Rino) ;D, as he stole me two week ago with his sassanid elephants led by his general. ;)

Best regards.

Gilles
