Hi guys,
A situation arose yesterday as follows: Unit A charged unit B in the flank and then was charged by unit C in its own flank. This is what it looked like once the charges were moved:
A1A3
A2A4
B1B2C1C3
B3B4C2C4
Units A and C are facing to the left, unit B is facing upwards.
Now our Blue player wanted to align in order to get B1 facing the side of A2 and B2 facing the side of A4, which would have been legal. HOWEVER, since B2 is engaged by C1, can he do that ?
And if he can, I assume Unit C would shift to the left as well, to stay in contact. Or is unit B forced to stay in place since it cannot move once it is contacted by C ?
Many Thanks,
Dam
You cannot align if you are in contact with 2 (or more) enemy UGs at different angles. This is covered on page 136, lower diagram - although in the diagram, both UGs are in frontal contact.
