Hello gents,
I have three questions for you. I am really new to the rules.
1) As far as I can tell the Later 100 years war English can only have 6 bases of independent MAA?
2) If you want some more dependable infantry you can only pick Billmen?
3) Am I right in thinking that Longbowmen shoot with BLACK dice at Dismounted MAA and GREEN at Mounted MAA? It seems a bit weak. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance
1) Yes - you have set me thinking that this number might be too low.
2) Depends upon what you mean by "dependable" - but I think I know what you mean....
3) Black dice on dismounted M-A-Arms if > 1BW (unless skilled - when it would be white dice). Green at mounted M-A-Arms (not on ArmHrs and again assuming not skilled).

Rather depends at what point in time.
The Agincourt campaign had about 1:3 men-at-arms to bowmen IIRC, but by the end of the war the numbers were more like 1:5 - the number of men-at-arms fell throughout the whole of the 100YW and continued to do so afterwards.
Yes but does it make sense? Does the number of archers compesate for the lack of heavy foot? Havent tried them. And thats the reason i feel the power of their shooting might be a bit low for what they were known for. At least they could have a greater slowing effect if not killing potential.
Too low ? :o
Green on mounted units is too low
Vs foot it is normal on white as all other shooters
