Fantastic painting as always - you give them a huge amount of character and variation even with a necessarily limited colour palette for steppe chaps. Taking note of your horse colours to stop me just using a brown wash on mine next time I have a load of horse to paint

Funny you should mention "using a brown wash" as form December 21st I'm about to embark on speed painting a Late Roman army in 28mm for The Analogue Hobbies Painting Challenge using just that method for the horses.
