Title: Downgraded black dice
Post by: jasonbroomer on August 10, 2021, 07:42:31 PM
What roll causes a slow result to a downgraded black dice. An 's' or a wound.

This one is a touch opaque, but I think can be fairly easily worked out.

Below Black shooting gives slowing effects only.

Slowing effects are calculated from the total number of Skulls, Wounds, and S results.

Obviously there are no Skulls here so the effects are calculated from S and Wounds.

Both slow? I never thought of that. Could be, as you say it doesn't appear to be  clear

That is the way I would rule it as an umpire.

That's for shooting but in melee ? The lowest seems to be the "black" with a wound possibility so IMO it remains so as cannot be downgraded more and also as per QRS  8)

Interesting. Does this deserve a clarification from the Simaster?

Why it is all in the rules/QRS

A supporting file that would drop from black inflicts nothing.  This is stated on page 146, para 5.3.
