I have always played that the Invader starts the first turn, HOWEVER there are many historical battles during which the Defender started the attack(moved first).
A good friend and I looked for that rule and we could not find anything Specific in the rules book or addendums that says the Invader Always goes first.
Can anyone identify the rule that says the Invader always makes the first move in MEG.
Any reason why the Defender could not get the first move?
Any thoughts on the above will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the clarification in advance.
Best,
Lenney
For the rule, it is buried in the glossary under the definition for "Invader". I think it was also added to the clarifications that were updated last month.
I confirm the invader always moves first in the first phase or more correctly, plays the first card as he might want to discard a black card and wait but he has the initiative.
But it was so oblvious that it was written nowhere and so we got an addenda somewhere ;D
