Are there many people who play MeG in Australia? Anything at Cancon?

G'day mate - MeG I appears to be growing slowly but surely in popularity, in the East at least. With CANCON cancelled this year, it is hard to estimate the growth. The next local tournament here in Canberra later this month has 12 players. There are also players in Sydney, Woolongong, Albury and Melbourne that I am aware of and I believe there are some players in Brisvegas and Perth but I don't know them personally. 15mm appears to be the most commonly used scale.

Where are you?

Thanks for the reply. I'm outside Toowoomba.

Hmmm - I guess Toowoomba isn't exactly a wargaming hotspot?

Look at the Mortem et Gloriam Antipodes Facebook page - you might be able to locate the SE QLD players.

Thanks again for the response. I'll see what I can find. The rules themselves are quite enjoyable but while I have played a few solo games and do have a mate who is a bigger novice than me, it would be useful to see how games operate and see what things we are missing.
Regards,

If you are on FB the MeG Antipodes page is the best bet, as Steve notes, to find some SEQ players.

Welcome aboard!
