Title: M14 Question
Post by: Ludwig on February 08, 2019, 05:24:01 PM
M 14 "Double Move: 2 Consecutive Green or (White) moves
IS M 14 limited to a max of 2x the move distance for a Tug or Sug
and/or does that include a total of 2 Green or White actions including any action between M1 to M 15
An example would be M1 (Switch Flexibles) followed by M4 (Advance with a Double Wheel)
or for that matter any movement that did NOT bring a unit doint  an M 14 move (within 4 BW from enemy TUG's)
Clarification appreciated

M14.  Essentially you are allowed to do two consecutive GREEN moves as long as you stay 4BW away from enemy TuGs.

So Tribal (who need a RED), can only do two M2 (advance straight ahead) moves.
So Formed (who need a YELLOW), can do M2 (advance straight ahead) M3 (advance with wheel) M6 (advance and contract) or M7 (expand while stationary).
Drilled (also need a Yellow) can do the same moves as formed or M4 (advance with double wheel) M5 (advance with shift) or M9 (turn on spot).
Skirmishers (ho need a GREEN), can do any two moves (as all skirmisher moves are either white or green).
A Flexible TuG in skirmish formation can Switch Flexibles and then do another move - so yes your example would be fine.

Hope that helps.

Amusingly in (comedic) theory a SUG/Skirmisher can make an infinite number of moves - M14 being a Green move could be taken as one of the 2 white/green moves (logically the 2nd) allowing another 2 moves and so on and on and on and on ...  :o :P 8)

Therefore meeting the intention that:

Trwisted evil prize of the year so far for Nik for the other one  ??? ::) ;D  Yes ok (other) or (above) really needed for true legal impenetrability.  Well spotted eagle eyes!
