A tug BBB 3 bases wide charges an enemy tug AAA 3 bases during the charge phase, They are lined up as a result of the charge,
During the movement phase a new tug cccc advances and is within 1 base width of the front line of BBB the fighting unit from its army.
Can that unit give support even though it is not perfectly lined up corner to corner during the mele phase???
Can the unit that advanced during the movement phase pass the front of the enemy unit in combat and provided it stays within one base with can it still give support???.

The diagram is a bit unclear, but I will assume that units A & B are lined up in front corner to front corner contact.
If unit C is behind unit B such that it is not in contact with A (neither front corner to front corner or side edge to side edge) then, no, it can't support. (p. 146, 3.1)

If unit C ends up in side edge contact with A then, yes it can give support. However, because it is touching A, it can't charge A next turn. However, it can turn 90° and create a flank melee combat. (p. 132, 2)
