Hi,
In the samouraï lists at the end of the book there are the muramaki compulsory ally.
I struggle to understand how it works.
The tug are mixed with the rear rank either unprotected or protected.
In the unprotected case they can be fleet of foot, but the first rank can't.
What is the point of having them fleet of foot? Did I miss a special rule somewhere?
By the way despite being compulsory the muramaki can be leaded only by their own general.
I believe they are not compulsory when we take an ally contingent ( ex:(nobunaga with ally takeda, the muramaki from takeda are not compulsory), right?
Thanks for the confirmation
I assume you are using the 2020 lists.
Are you referring to Muomachi or Muramaki?
1. An ally is compulsory but it doesn't have to be Muramaki clan allies. It can be an internal ally instead (but not an ally from another list).
2. Muramaki clan troops cannot be fleet of foot.

Hi Rino,
try Murasushi !
Muramaki is not good!
PUNCH
Hi Richard,
List 2020 (I don't have any clue what will be in the 2021 since it is not published yet)
Sengoku
Nobunaga
Takeda
All have the murakami clan ally.
I didn't know they were optional (not explained on the list note).
the fleet of foot was from the 2019 list, you re correct.
Murakam clan where mainly based around the Inland sea, and where known for raising money by "Charging" for safe passage across the inland sea. Merchants (the lowest class in Japanese Society) who did not pay for safe passage, their ships met with accidents :), even when not on the Inland Sea
