There is a crusader general as "internal ally ". he becomes mandatory if knights are used . but nothing is pecified as to which troops this general may or must command .
i would assume he has to command knights and crossbowmen but this is not specified . And what about other troops ? kurds ? mongols ?
As an internal ally he should command some of the Cavalry and some of the Best Cavalry ( does he ? ) and may command any other ... does he really ?

A Crusader ally general may only command troops in the section marked "Crusaders". I think that is pretty clear.
