Post by: grimangus on March 06, 2021, 09:46:39 AM
Hi everyone.
Just got my copy of MEG last night and pretty blown away already by the support and potential of the gaming system.
Got lots to learn but just saying hi to anyone who plays MEG in Bath Bristol area.
28mm Samnites on the painting/modelling table
15mm options I am thinking of include
Sertorian Spanish
Rhoxolani Sarmatian
Ostrogoths

I don't do Facebook so I'll have to just post here as I'm interested in finding Bristol players as well.

Where do you game?  Or where do you live?

We have a small group who mainly play other things but we meet in a scout hut on Wednesday evenings and I'd like to play MeG.  Otherwise try the Old Folk House barn in Downend - Lincomb Barn I think it is.  There is a wargaming club that meets there on Sunday afternoons.

Hi there.
I live in Bristol and am a MeG player though I have only played a few games so am a novice, relatively speaking.
My current situation (caring for my elderly father) does not allow me to play but I was a member of the Lincombe Barn Wargames Club, before the pandemic hit. They do have a website, which will give you details of commitee members, who will be able to help you.
