Hello everyone.
I've just picked up the Compendium edition and I'm hoping to have my first game (virtually) this weekend.
I'm working my way through the rules and I've got a question around the diagram on page 139 around the +2 claim for impact weapons. Sup Roman Leg vs the Average Hoplite.
Can anyone tell me where in the book i can find the reference to where the +2 is located?
I've found the description on page 46 and I can see the charts at the end of the book, but neither (as far as I can tell) mentions anything.
I know I can't see the wood for the trees here, but any pointers would be appreciated.
Many thanks.
DL.
You will find it on the separate QRS in Charge Combat Preferred Claims.
The QRS in the book (and those sent out with the first batch of rules) had a layout error which had removed some parts of the QRS between proof reading and printing. This was corrected in the separate QRS and those are what you should work from.
If for some reason you don't have the up to date QRS get in touch with PSC for an updated version - but if you bought recently you should have the correct ones.
I've got the 2020 compendium edition, SKU : MEG001
I've spoken to friend who also has the rules and I'm told that his book says the same as mine but his separate QRS has 2 additional lines for pole arms and impact weapons that's missing from the book.
I bought my book brand new about 10 days ago but not from PSC.
I'll drop PSC a line and see what they say.
Thanks.
There is a downloadable version here that could tide you over - https://lurkio.co.uk/meg/meg/wp-content/uploads/MEG2020/Rule_Materials/MeG%202020%20COMPENDIUM%20QRS%20280620.pdf
Thank you for the link.
Appreciated. :)
