When a file of a TUG equipped with a missile weapon (e.g. Bow or Xbow) with a front rank base that has an embedded Light Artillery (Gun) is charged do they get the KAB for the gun being charged if they opted to fire their other weapon?
The wording on the QRS is "Guns and cannons claim a KaB test per model firing vs. enemy charging them." Thus, what constitutes a "model" (a term that is not defined in the glossary as far as I can find) Is it the base, the file or the artillery weapon characteristic itself?
I have probably been looking in the wrong places :-\
Always refer to the rules, the QRS is for reference. Page 35 indicates artillery has 1 model per base. Page 185 9.11 C.8 - says Guns and Cannons claim a KaB per base firing on any UG charging them in addition to their normal firing effect.
By the way the rule is worded, the artillery has to be firing. Before somebody asks, only 1 gun or cannon base can fire in any one file.
(Obviously it would be better if the QRS used the word base rather than model).
