The limitations for displacing friendly SUGs are first provided on p.80 of the Compendium. Those limitations are that the SUG cannot be displaced more than 1 BW, there must be space and a new target must not become eligible to be shot at.
The limitations are again stated on p. 114 but they differ in their detail. In particular, the Compendium now states the SUG can be moved the minimum necessary to make room (no specific distance limit mentioned) and a new target cannot become available to the SUG to shoot at or charge.
Is the rule meant to say: the friendly SUG is displaced by the minimum necessary up to a maximum of 1BW, there must be the space to move the SUG and a new target cannot become eligible for the SUG to shoot at or charge?
Think you have spotted a small omission there :D
Ok but does that mean my interpretation is correct or do we have to wait for his 'Purpleness' to give us his ruling?
Hisi Purpleness! ;D 8). seems to have slipped up on a purple banana skin!
114 K should indeed include the 1BW limit and read
"displaced by the minimum necessary up to a maximum of 1BW"
His embarrassed purpleness, having regained his feet, has added an errata.
