Today at our local game store (Poznan- Poland) we had few pacto games, it occur that there are still some things that we dont know how to play. I would like to ask you (more experienced players )How you play those situation:
1. flank charging
If 2 units are touching each other with the corners can one charge the secound on the flank ?
2.Charging when in middle of blok
Does the middle unit of 3-unit blok can charge only streight ahead? we had a situation whare it choose to charge with secound unit from this blok a enemy unit that was slightly on the right but it could not make it even when we paly this universal 1/2 BW shift -there was not enough room even for small rotation

1. No. If you are already touching an enemy element (corner to corner or side edge to side edge etc.) then the provisions of 9.4M (p 132) apply. You can end up in melee without a charge.
2. Generally no. You have to have the room to finish the charge without displacing any enemy or friendly UG but as long as this is okay, you don't have to charge straight ahead. Remember in real life units would be much shallower than the models that represent them. If charging into a gap, there must be sufficient width to get through the gap.
