Title: Our group first Meg battles (pacto games)
Post by: Capocuoco on September 18, 2020, 11:00:34 AM
Hi all! We Are a New Italian group of player and we started playing meg one month ago and we like It very much.
This picture (on fb group) is from yesterday night pacto late rep  Romans vs mid sassanidi
Only a question to be sure we Have understood well,:
--Is charging the only way for a file to contact an enemy file? And can a charging file contact an enemy front corner of a base already in front contact with one other base of mine?(//)

No. A charge (or pursuit) is the only way of initiating a combat in the charge phase.

A UG may in the movement phase move to an overlap position.  This can include the universal 1/2 BW shift (page 80).
A UG which is already in front corner or side edge contact may engage in melee in the movement phase (page 132).

Fantastico!  Welcome aboard.  Hoping to gather ore players in Italy over the coming months.
Spread the news.  perhaps you can set up a FB page for the Italian language.
