Title: Early German 'horse killer' units
Post by: MADdaz on August 25, 2020, 08:42:58 PM
The special rule states that if the German cavalry move faster than the 'horse killer' skirmish marker, then the claim for Expert Melee is lost - is this permament?

Which book is that army in? I'm really bad at finding them, but this sounds fascinating.

What happens  if the cav charges and doesn't contact enemy within 4BWs eg if the enemy evades? Can the cav choose to charge short and keep the infantry, or must they move their full distance leaving the foot behind?

There is nothing in the special rule in the list that allows for a short move in a charge.

That's how I understood it to. May I enquire from the list writer(s) if that is also the intent?
