Title: Cantabrian
Post by: neffer38 on August 23, 2020, 05:02:29 PM
Can any one point to where Cantabrian is covered in the rules? I can see from an example on P77 that the SuG will get a -1BW when skirmishing or running. But what is the advantage?

Thanks

Page 206 - it defines the characteristic.

Essentially troops in Cantabrian shoot as if skilled except when doing a Run Away move.  The drawback is that they move -1BW in Normal Phase and subtract 1 from the dice roll when skirmishing or running away.  They also cannot charge, countercharge or intercept.  Switching into or out of Cantabrian is free but the -1BW will apply.

You must have the original rule set and not the Compendium edition from PSC released this year.

I've attached the 2020 Characteristics document for you and Cantabrian is in that - thought it was on the MeG site as a download but cannot see it; perhaps it should be there for those using the older rulebook format Simon Hall?

Thats great! You have just answered a few more questions I had.

Thanks to both of you for such quick replys.

Cheers,
