Only four entries due to clash with IWC, Brighton MeG and illness.
Thanks to Firestone Games for an excellent venue and Michael Baldwin for his support.
We played 3 qualifying rounds and then a 1st vs 2nd and 3rd vs 4th final playoff round.


1st Lance Flint (Frisian with Danish and German alliies) - 45 pts  (15 v SS; 15 v RJC; 15 v AC)
2nd Richard Jeffrey-Cook (Hanseatic City League with Frisian allies) - 29 pts (15 v AC; 6 v LF; 8 v SS)
3rd Stephen Stead (Late Medieval German) - 25 pts (8 v LF; 15 v AC; 2 v RJC)
4th Andrew Claxton (Teutonic Orders) - 9 pts (5 v RJC; 4 v SS; 0 v LF)


1st Lance Flint 15 v 2nd Richard Jeffrey-Cook 2   3rd Stephen Stead 15 beat Andrew Claxton 6


Congratulations to Lance and honourable mention to Andy who was playing in his first MeG competition.

Yes, his army definitely had the edge on mine.
His allied Danish were 4 TuGs of mixed Huscarls, Best Bondi and Bondi (in 9s).  The allied Germans provided Knights, spearmen and crossbowmen.  The Frisians were 2/3 protected, 1/3 unprotected loose long spearmen with a small TuG of cavalry.

Whatever I tried, it just didn't work. He always seemed to have 1 more unit than I could cope with and none of the match ups gave me that much of an edge.  He also got the strategic intercept against me in both our games.
