Wow! That's amazing. Really like the articles. Question, on Turn3 Roman Equites turn away and run. Can they do that? I am pretty newbie, but I thought only skirmishers can run from a charge and most other people have to take it in the face. Am I wrong? Thanks a lot!
(I don't know if this should go to rules question, but as it doubt popped up while reading it's here. If I am wrong, please correct me).
Page 126 of the rules explains who can skirmish or run away.
Basically in addition to Skirmishers (inc. Flexibles in skirmish formation) cavalry, camelry and chariotry who are not CL, DC or ArmHrs and also have missile weapon (other than Charge Only) can make a skirmish or run away response to a charge.
Thanks a lot. Didn't know the Equites can too. That's great.
Thanks prosi!
You did have me worried for a moment or two there, I did double check the rules earlier today (although now it turns out that nik would have saved me the trouble!)
There may well be many things I am getting wrong, some of which I have now realised, some of which I maybe I don't know about yet :) So I am all ears for anybody pointing out mistakes.
