Hi, I'm new to the game and have what may be a silly question about deployment...
If I understand correctly only SuG's (or flexi-TuG's) can deploy in the 5BW closer to the table edge on unsecure flank - and everything else must deploy in the center section. Does this mean that nothing can deploy in the unsecure flank sector between 5-10BW in from the edge? and that nothing can deploy anywhere in the secure flank sector?

I believe here "centre sector" is everything that isn't the outer 5BW - which isn't quite the same thing as the "middle sector" for terrain placement (although I note that the terrain diagrams mention "centre" which I hadn't really clocked before). The secure flank bit I think is a bit of am omission, however, I think the intention is clear and any troops can deploy to the table edge on a secure flank. Si may want to mention it in a clarrie though. (usual caveat about I may have missed something)
Thanks very much for the clarification. That does seem to make more sense than the literal interpretation of the way its written in the rules that we tried playing!

Deployment Zones
Deployment zone is up ≥6BW from the table centre line (i.e. can be at 6BW).
Unless on a secure flank or in ambush, only SuGs may be deployed within 5BW of table side edges.
Camps must be placed within 6BW of the centre of the rear edge, or between this centre and a secure flank.
Centre Sector is only for terrain. Whoops!
Page 69 2 should not just have the word centre without italics.
