Hy as I tried the Swiss is it possible to have the list used for the game ? I am curious to compare !
2 superior keils, one average, 2 superior halbariers, 2 crossbow skirmishers, one hand gunners, poor unprotected camp, and that's it!
I run essentially the same Swiss army but instead of an average pike Keil, I run the halberdiers units as average. I have played four times with them now and not won a game. The Keils are incredibly tough but struggle (as they did historically) against good shooters and being surrounded by greater numbers. It doesn't help being fully out scouted every time and having to come forward to get at the enemy but in so doing, exposing your rear and camp to the enemy. It also doesn't help only playing against one of our best MEG players who avoids fighting the keils until the odds are stacked in his favour😊
All that said, I love playing with the Swiss as they never go down without a fight and look great! If other Swiss players have hints and tips, I'd love to hear them.
I played them at Britcon 2019 . Got 2 games out of 6, the other 4 generals just running away from me . I lost a game vs shooty cavalry but 8-15 as it was the long game of the friday evening and won another game as I played Adrian P. and we got a really funny fight because he wanted a game, not a circus .
