Title: Remote Games and Card Draws
Post by: RobAustin on June 18, 2020, 06:56:12 PM
For those of you playing with remote opponents, how are you managing the command card draws?

It seems it would change the game only slightly to have two separate decks.

Thoughts?

We played that we drew our own cards and rolled out our dice and trusted each other.

That was our thought too. It will be interesting to see if people think having separate decks for each side makes a difference.

I have been playing some games where as host, I deal the cards and then show the cards to the camera (without looking at them).  My opponent has a deck and puts the corresponding cards against his generals.  The only thing we then declare to each other is what cards we are retaining at the end of the turn.

It is just an alternative way of going about it.

That works too.
On Universal Battles they have them all shown face up.
Lots of ways.

Good that the system allows us decent remote gaming as not too fiddly.

Cannae practice game for me Monday. 2-0 to Hannibal so far.
