Title: Medieval "Shooty" Pacto armies query
Post by: Nick2729 on June 02, 2020, 11:38:12 PM
I am still awaiting my rules to arrive  :( but am looking forward to getting this on the table. Our main area of interest is 100 Years War and War of the Roses. Initially we'll be playing Pacto games and will use that to let others at the club have a go. However, I am concerned that without the slowing effect archers are going to be too susceptible to being trampled by Knights - can you give some reassurance that the rules will work for this period at the Pacto scale.

Many thanks

They were fine when I tried them.
As with the main rules you need hills or stakes really to stop a big knight charge.

The slowing effect is removed as a implifcaiton but also because bonfire is more dangerous as the break points are small. So a GREEN skull when charged by the bows is rather deadly indeed.

Do report back how it goes and if an issue you can always put the slowing effect back in with any hit slowing by 1.
