Warfare – 14th & 15th November

Rise and Fall of the Chariot

10,000 points

Lists from: Sumer and Akkad, Egypt and Hatti, Assyria and Babylon, and Mandate of Heaven.

Any allies must also be drawn from those list sets.

List checker: Nik Gaukroger; nikgaukroger@blueyonder.co.uk ; please submit list as the entire army builder spreadsheet (not just the print page)

List deadline: Friday 6th November

4 games, 6' x 4' tables (NB actual tables at the venue may be deeper so adjust accordingly)

Venue: Ascot Race Course

Game timing: Games to be 3 hours; when time is called finish the phase you are playing and then the game ends.

Timetable

Saturday
Check-in:   8.30 am to 9.15 am (The earlier everyone gets here, the earlier we can get through check-in and "let the games begin")
Round 1:   9.30 am to 12.30 pm
Lunch:  12.30 pm to 1.30 pm (meals are available from the café on site, but there can be long waits – if possible, find someone to take an order for you)
Round 2:  1.30 pm to 4.30 pm

Sunday
Round 3:  9.00 am to 12.00 pm (n.b. earlier start-time than Saturday)
Lunch: 12.00 pm to 1.00 pm
Round 4:  1.00 pm to 4.00 pm

Prizegiving:  As soon as we can work it out!

Looks fun.  I hope to be there.  If so I might instead offer to do a casual event for people wanting to learn the game and do Pacto one day and Maximus the second.

Very sorry to see that this event has had to be postponed to 2021. It is always one of my favourite events.
