Can't recall if I've posted these somewhere, but what the hack they can go here as well.
Quick paint job to see how they came out. No special prep needed, just painted them as if they were metal figs.
BTW some info that may be of interest to those with boxes of the PSC Goths or who have ordered them.
The shields on the figures appear to be pretty much 8mm diameter. Steve at LBMS has told me that in his 15mm transfers all the Khurrassan transfers for Vikings, Saxons, Germanics are 8mm diameter, the Old Glory 15's Vikings are 7.5mm in diameter and the Essex Viking sheet is 7mm diameter.

The shields were designed to fit the LBMS Khurrassan goth shield transfers. Same for the Later Roman... got the transfers build the shields to match

A splendid idea. So the Khurasan transfers for the Romans then 8)
Another trick .. buy a cheap leather punch 8mm in diameter . About £3 on eBay . Hammer and non precious surface and you can cut out about 200 shields in 30 mins !!
If only they produced an oval punch !!

Already done that - got a set of 10, 1mm to 10mm. Have found the 2mm one useful for punching out holes for shield bosses in transfers that don't have them 8)

even better : get them at your local hardware store and support the local business
Still not a fan of the fat shields but the figures really have translated well into the new material.
