The rules seem clear to me, but want to confirm:
A Cavalry TUG with Feigned Flight can't tempt an Infantry unit with Devastating Charges to Force Charge, as Foot who would contact Mounted are exempt from Forced Charges.
Correct?
Correct.
An Infantry SuG with Feigned Flight can tempt infantry TUGs with DC to force charge.

Thank you Richard. I may have to re-evaluate the cost benefit of Feigned Flight.
Cheers
Deliberately not too extreme at the outset as a potential cock up if we did so.

Of course that means the feigned flight at the battle of Hastings can't be modelled (foot fyrd tempted into chasing mounted Bretons). Though I don't know the historical standing of that these days (I think it was one of those incidents that are subjected to periodic historical revisions as to whether it happened or not)
Indeed true at present. If it works well and isn't to dramatic we can then expand that effects.
eh...new rule change then
Nope no changes planned ;)
Just being cautious on FF.

Not a cheap shot, I trust. I would imagine we will not see any major rule changes for a while after the new rulebook is published.
As I have said before errata only for some time.
And hopefully few errata. Lots of proofing going on.

If cards can stop a feigned flight reaction charge, i do not see the problem of infantry being concerned.
i think it is a sexy characteristic that should be expanded to infantry vs cav.
Interesting as a game mechanic but does ayone have historicall reference of infantry tempting cavalry in something similar to the MEG feigned charge ?
Of course we all heard about the widely spred idea of Breton cavalry tempting Fyrd infantry at Hastings. :o
I visited Bayeux recently and it is reported in the tapestry, is it reported fact or propaganda in favour of the dukes cleverness ?
At the moment i can not remind of any MEGs game mechanics to trigger infantry uncontrolled pursuit / charge vs cavaly.
An Army level pursuit of an ( apparently ) routing ennemy Army seems to be game end 15 - in MEG
???
We are erring on the cautious side for bit with FF as it could go horribly wrong and cause chaos in a near perfect game. So we can review this and add it in 5years time in vs 3 if we are totally convinced and there is a reason for a vs3 (right now I have few ideas left on the drawing board).
