Title: Mid Republicans contradiction

Mid Republican list says Elephants from 200BCE, however notes says  "Elephants can be used Greece or Asia at any date, but only from 153BCE in Spain, Gaul, Italy or Africa" which is correct?

The intent of the note is:  Elephants can be used from 200 BCE in Greece or Asia, but only from 153 BCE in Spain, Gaul, Italy or Africa.
