Title: Slow downs & moves which use only some of a units speed
Post by: stuuk on January 07, 2019, 10:11:28 AM
For example falling back.
if my cavalry can only fall back equal or less than 3 (because that's what the move allows) but I am slowed by one due to shooting, how far can I fall back?

My move value is 5 reduced to 4 for the slow - or is it 3 reduced to 2 because of the move?

The slowing effect is deducted from whatever your move is going to be, so it would come off the fallback distance in this case. Similarly if you are moving through terrain any slowing effect comes off the terrain move distance.

Correct.

So if you lose 2BW of slowing and you try to do a fall back of 2BW you go ZERO unless you prompt through fire.
It affects everything.
